Memory Game

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! You do not have to have met me in person as I have barely met any of you.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. :) If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

So simple enough. I read about this on Missy's blog, one of my never-met blogger friends and coming up with memories about something funny she wrote or said on my blog was very easy. This is one of my favorite things of blogging, the awesome people I have "met" and feel like I know so well. Now, I am going to add one more rule, some of my readers know me from my High School years, so if you choose a memory from then remember this is a PG-rated blog, at least I try to keep it that way, so please be nice.

We were at an Enrichment thingy and we were talking about the show Friends, and we were laughing about the episode where Joey asked someone who didn't have a TV what they point their furniture at. The reason I love this memory is that we laughed our heads off for probalby five minutes off and on while we were reliving the episode in our mind.

Some of my first memories of your blog are of your house remodel project that seemed to go on forever! I bet it was even longer for you! I admire you for getting those projects done. (My remodel is never ending, so I don't even bother posting any of it. The unfinished studio, unfinished bathroom, make that bathroomS, on and ON.) And I totally remember your comment and concern when I was blog-jacked!

I remember you visiting our house when Mike found out that you liked Robotech. So we decided to show you some of our other anime. I think it was Gundam Wing. We watched an episode or two with you, then had some dinner. After dinner, we asked if there was anything you'd like to do. You asked if it was ok if we just watched more Gundam Wing. I knew we were going to get along just great!

When Matt was your guys' visiting teacher we asked if we could come by right after church. You said "Yes, but our house is filthy, just so you know." I expected to see reminance of a tornado that just blew over, since you did just have a baby and all, and we walked in... no mess... went into the living room... no mess!! I honestly looked around trying to find out what was messy while we were chatting and I coudl see there were some dishes in teh sink... I wondered if that was your definition of "FILTHY!" I will never forget that. I always thought it was hilarious!

If I didn't have a brain blockage this would be much easier. I know we have done some fun things on our visits but can't single out one! I love our long talks about anything and everything! I do remember playing 2 lies and a truth at Moms when you and Dan were first married. Your truth was shocking! So shocking I won't mention it here! It had to do with a pool and initiation! I remember thinking "Holy buckets! This girl is a wild one!"
I also remember not being able to beat you at Scattegories!

Ok against my better judgement I'm gonna put my email address on here because I want you to write me!! glamlily79@gmail.com We haven't caught up in ages! Are you still in touch with Lisa?? (I might come back and delete this part tomorrow once I know that it's at least been sent to your email lol)

You took me to eat at that little cafe near you house. I can't even remember the name now. And its gone. But you always liked doing girly things with like going to the craft fair and scrapbooking. Things girlfriends do, which I usually shyed away from, but wished I did do. Thanks for the good times!

Alright I will do a G rated comment for the sake that we are much more respectable girls now. I least I like to think I am sometimes! How about when you ran over my foot in the library parking lot with FS? I believe you stopped the car on my ankle as I yelled you are on my foot. Of course you didn't believe me. That is one memory I will never forget with the scars and all. We have so many memories I love ya Cristtin

My memory of you is right up there with Jessica's. It was so good to know you had the right priorities in life. If you want, we can send over our Gundam Wing set to keep you company while Dan is away. Let me know!

As far as a blog memory goes, I have to credit your "Danism's" post. I always knew my brother was .."interesting" that way, but I never knew that he dared to share that part of him with you -- and then to see that he still had a pulse afterwards showed me how much you really loved Dan (yeah, I had my doubts before then... sorry). Is that a bad way to gage other couples' relationships?
